Played a little game with free2network colleagues yesterday at the new Caernarfon meeting. I've been wondering what small business operators really value about training....
For me, it's those "lightbulb moments" that encourage me to change the way I work. For others, it's the financial impact on their business. We had some fun - and plenty of constructive discussion - trying to put these in order of importance. The conclusion was that we all had different priorities, and so trainers need to include something for everyone in order for ALL business to benefit. Have a go yourself:
1 - Inspirational lightbulb moments
2 - practical tools and new skills
3 - accredited qualifications
4 - ways to make a financial difference to your business: new income streams, increased profit (OK, this was originally chocolate money, but we ate it all...)
5 - networking with others, sharing ideas
6... or something else? What???
